School Facts
Sinclear Elementary School was the first of five new elementary school campuses built in Ceres from 2004-2006 to open its doors to kindergarten through sixth grade students.
Sinclear Elementary School's first principal was Connie Stark. She retired at the end of the 2017/2018 school year. Mrs. Stark was a consistent cornerstone of the Sinclear community for 13 years, opening Sinclear to students on August 10, 2005. During her 38 year career in the education field, she helped guide thousands of students and families through their elementary years at Sinclear, Westport, Carroll Fowler, and Walter White Elementary Schools.
Sinclear Elementary School was named after the Sinclear family of Ceres. Stan Sinclear and his father, Dale, both served on the Ceres Unified School District Board of Trustees spanning over a 30 year period. For 24 years (1979-2003) Stan represented the Westport area on the school board.
