Welcome to Sinclear Elementary’s webpage!  We are very proud of our school and our students.  We are the home of the grizzlies!

Sinclear opened it doors to students for the first time on Wednesday, August 10, 2005.  It was the first of 5 new elementary schools to open in the Ceres Unified School District between August 2005 and October 2006.  It was a huge undertaking for the district, but quite successful.  During the same time, we opened our 2nd comprehensive high school, Central Valley High. Our district changed from year round schools at the elementary level to traditional schedules for all schools in the district.

Sinclear currently has 630 students in grades Kindergarten through Sixth. We have an average of 20 students per classroom in grades K – 3 and 32 students in grades 4 – 6. There are 28 credentialed teachers and every Sinclear teacher is Highly Qualified according to the No Child Left Behind federal guidelines.  Each of the 28 teachers has the certificate for teaching English Learners.  Sinclear Elementary as well as all of Ceres Unified use Open Court for the Language Arts program and HB for the math curriculum.
